Wyoming Jeepers

In 2011, I left teaching for medical disability. Over the next couple of years, I stayed home because I thought disability meant being sick. It dawned on me that disability was life and I got off my couch and began living again. With the help of Tecfidera (since 2013), I have been able to return to normal activity in moderation. I rest when I need to but most of the time I’m out helping neighbors, promoting my book The Call of the Last Frontier: The True Story of a Woman’s Twenty-Year Alaska Adventure, and filming the WyomingJeepers.com videos currently being posted on YouTube. I encourage anyone struggling with MS to make the best of every single day, no matter how difficult. We get each day once and then they are gone.
