Ann Romney Center for Neurologic Diseases

AnnRomneyAnn Romney is campaigning again only this time she is looking for donations for the newly established Ann Romney Center for Neurologic Diseases. $50 million and “Transforming the Future of Medicine” are the goals. It’s no secret that Mrs. Romney is an MS patient herself. Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston is the location of the new center. There collaboration and patient-centered research will hopefully “lead to innovations and new treatments, accelerating the search for cures for five of the world’s most complex neurologic disease.” These include multiple sclerosis, ALS or Lou Gehrig’s Disease, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and brain tumors. Current clinical studies located at: http://www.partnersmscenter.org/index.php?id=52&mn=8.
