MSsymptoms: National MS Society Scholarship is Open for Applications

ScholarshipThe National MS Society is now accepting scholarship applications for the 2015-16 school year. The scholarship amounts are $1,000 and $3,000. Patients with MS and their children are eligible to apply provided they are planning to attend an accredited postsecondary school at least part-time (6 credits) and are working towards a degree, license or certificate. Applicants must be United States citizens or live in a U.S. territory.

The National MS Society is planning to give out 650 scholarships. Applications are online and can be saved to complete in multiple visits. Financial need, academic records, and a variety of other criteria will be considered including an essay describing how multiple sclerosis has impacted the life of the applicant. Deadline is January 15, 2014.
