MS symptoms: MS Patient Burns Face

imagesAnother headline of my life, “MS Patient Burns Face”. In 1997 I found my hands and face lost their ability to judge temperatures. One night I washed my face and returned to the bedroom when my husband exclaimed, “What did you do to your face!” I responded, “What are you talking about?” Looking in the mirror I saw my red-purple face, burned from the hot washcloth neither my hands nor face could feel. Fatigue took my attention from the water; I never even noticed the steam. I’d like to say this was the only time that happened but it wasn’t. The good news is the feeling returned to my face and hands resolving the issue.
