MS symptoms: MS Cognitive Issues Lead to Chaos in the Home

chaosOne day I decided to thoroughly clean the living room. In the process I emptied the front closet to sort, rid ourselves of, and then reorganize to afford more space for excess belongings hanging around. When I found an item meant to be in another room, I changed rooms saw the mess in there and pulled things out of every nook and cranny, totally forgetting about the shambles in the living room. All day I migrated from one room to the next not realizing the disaster the house was becoming. Just before my husband was due home I wandered through the house and realized it was in utter chaos. In an attempt to head off the “What the heck happened in here?” I went to my husband’s classroom and sheepishly said with a grin, “You know I have a memory problem, right?” When we arrived home to the upheaval, we both laughed. It took me over a week to get the house back in order but it was clean.
