MS symptoms: Auto-immune Diseases – All Aboard!

bandwagonSometimes life pulls a fast one on me and I discover I have a new illness. Having an auto-immune disease predisposes me to more than just MS. The first surprise was of course, multiple sclerosis, followed by arthritis. Fibromyalgia decided to join the crowd. Hypothyroidism creeped up on me. Suddenly, on Thursday I was hit with a flare of what I believe will turn out to be rheumatoid arthritis given past flares, current symptoms, and previous visits with the specialist. I’m not complaining just stating. I feel like I am pulling a bandwagon behind me labeled “Auto-immune Diseases – All Abroad!”.

Interesting. Our family is plagued with autoimmune diseases. Nobody has MS, thankfully. Doctors suspect my cousin has it. She had testing last week, but we haven’t heard any news yet.
