David Lyons of MS Fitness Challenge Guest Post

DavidLyonsHello MSsymptoms visitors. My name is David Lyons and I am co-founder, with my wife Kendra, of www.msfitnesschallenge.org (MSFC). Our cause connects people with MS with certified fitness trainers nationwide and pays to have them join a 12 week health & fitness challenge. This is a FREE program that is supported by donation dollars. You can read more about this charity on our website.

The reason for my guest blog today is to help in my search for people with MS who are accomplishing or have already accomplished extraordinary feats in fitness. Whether it’s running marathons, getting a black belt in karate or simply taking charge of MS through health & fitness, I want to know about it. Why, you ask? In addition to my many roles as founder of MSFC; owner/executive producer at Bishop-Lyons Entertainment; and training for my next bodybuilding contest with MS, I am a weekly contributor for www.everydayhealth.com.

This health, fitness and wellness website reaches 30 million visitors a month and I am part of the writers team. Every week I write something about fitness with MS or an extraordinary MSer who is battling the disease as I am by finding a goal and attaining it in the world of sports, fitness, health or exercise. Many of my articles have been picked up by the front page of AOL.com which reaches more than 250 million people. Imagine how happy the people I wrote about were when they saw their picture and story on AOL as well as Everyday Health!

So, if you are one of these amazing MSers who has grabbed MS by the you know what’s and has a great story to tell me OR if you know someone like this, please reach out to me at david@msfitnesschallenge.com. I’m eagerly waiting…
