In visiting a friend with Parkinson’s Disease I realized how fortunate I am to have multiple sclerosis instead. MS waxes and wanes meaning I do have breaks from my illness now and then providing hope for future relief. I remember a time when I was first diagnosed I did not believe I would ever be pain-free again and I wasn’t for a couple of years but then, one day, it was gone.
