MS symptoms: Memory Adaptation

whoBewildered I ask, “Do I know you?” This occurs so often in my world that I warn new people I might not remember them next time our paths cross. Being up front about my memory issue eases the embarrassment and awkwardness in the future. When the bewildered look reappears, people are quick to reintroduce themselves and remind me when and where we last met. It works slick and no one is uncomfortable.
