Today is my first day of work in nearly five years. I won’t be walking into a classroom nor will I command the salary or work the hours I once did. However, I hope to give a little back to my community assisting with the emergency medical services in rural Alaska. It will a dipstick test of a different kind, checking to see what my future may hold for more gainful employment down the road.
