Returning to Work with Multiple Sclerosis

GoodHealthI’m sure other disabled MSers struggle with the desire to return to work when experiencing symptom-free periods. I am no different. Visions of my old self and capabilities give me the hope and desire to return to what I once enjoyed in a career. It is very tempting to put out that job application and give it a go. Concern arises for those who love me – what if returning to work brings back symptoms that forced the disability in the first place? A real fear. Do we let that fear change the course of our future when new medications have changed the direction of our disease?

The question for debate becomes, “How best to maintain good health?”
