“What’s the green train’s name Grandma?” Gee, I just looked that up five minutes ago. Hm… “I don’t know. Let me look it up again.” This might be a typical scenario for most people in their late 40s but maybe not when you realize it repeated over five times in less than a hour. For the life of me I didn’t know the name of the green train from the Thomas the Train collection despite having just looked it up. Dang! Short-term memory failure keeps me actively looking for information over and over and over again. Finally, I wrote down all of the names of the trains on a post-it and stuck it on a box by the trains.
