Whew! The end of week three on Tecfidera has arrived without incident or side effect. Breakfast ends with a Tecfidera pill, an 81 mg aspirin and two ounces of apple sauce. I stopped the non-drowsy anti-histamine without issue after two and a half weeks.

My grandiose plan for starting up on Tecfidera has been side-tracked.  A change in my medical insurance in January means specialty medications are required to repeat pre-certification. The red tape has my prescription in limbo and left me on one 240 mg pill per day for the time being. Fortunately for me, Biogen, Inc. promptly responded to my situation and had a 30-day supply in the mail in one day. A big thank-you to Biogen, Inc.
