MS symptoms: Tecfidera & Jugular Vein Distention

Unknown-1Turns out that flushing is more than simply being torched from the inside out. It is more than the red cheeks and the burning feeling beneath the skin. At times my jugular veins increase in size and create a pressure feeling so uncomfortable that I feel the need to hold my hands around my neck to provide relief. Yesterday my doctor said this experience was a symptom of flushing. Aspirin will help to control these symptoms when taking Tecfidera. Good to know since I ended up in the hospital thinking I had a cardiovascular problem and the ER personnel had no clue what was causing it.
