MS symptoms: Tai Chi for Coordination, Depression & Wellbeing

Each week Multiple Sclerosis Trust highlights a research of the week. This week a duplicate TaiChistudy on Tai Chi was performed extending the during from two to six months to determine the longer term benefits of Tai Chi. The duplication was warranted due to the belief in the increased benefits over longer periods of time from this exercise and relaxation program. The results showed, “significant improvements in their balance, coordination and depression.” Participants were happier with life and remained stable in fatigue issues while the control group did not.
