Last night I laid awake again. Sleep issues are common for people with multiple sclerosis. I take Trazadone for sleep but have been reducing my dosage to get off of it. My doctors do not agree on how I should use it. My general doctor wants me to get off of it. My neurologist wants me to stay on because good sleep is key to staying healthy with MS. I want good sleep drug-free. To help me in times like these I use the essential oils of lavender and citrus combined with fractionated coconut oil in a roller bottle. In the dark I can reach over and get the bottle, roll some on my feet, let it soak in and then put my feet under the covers. Lavender and citrus bliss smell good and promote sleep. Sometimes I can actually feel my body let go and slip into sleep after using it.
