Following years of pain pill popping and lost productivity due to MS fatigue and pain, last month I decided there has to be a better way. My pharmacist friend suggested I get moving and my doctor said, “Don’t start counting miles and minutes until you are sweating.” So dusting off the fancy exercise bike I dumped the pain pills and hopped on for a ride. I have been riding for a month now. What a difference too! I can’t say that I am pain and fatigue free, however, I can say I have taken far fewer pain pills and have pulled myself out of a tailspin fatigue. The key will be staying motivated especially when I have other things to do.
